Design Automation

Work with organisation to determine scope of Project based on business Goals and Objectives. 

Identify trial product and develop Project Plan.

Define the platform architecture identifying the individual components and their function, data flows and integrations.

Evaluate existing product line to understand the requirements, constraints and limitations in order to optimise the design and maximise standardisation.

Develop Product Tree to determine relationships and dependencies between systems, assemblies and components. 

Establish the Design logic that governs the configuration of the product.

Configure Platform:

• Capture design data e.g. geometric data, metadata and attributes as well as any external data.
• Design the user interface.
• Translate the design logic into design rules that govern the configuration of the product and the generation of all derived specifications.
• Develop the specification flow that controls the behaviour of specifications during the generation process. 
• Conduct testing to verify the platform is working as intended and generating the correct design information. 

Integrate platform with existing applications.

Providing user training.

Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate the platform satisfies the acceptance criteria. 

Deploy platform and provide ongoing support.
